Students and staff were treated to a Caribbean-themed menu today as part of our Black History Month celebrations. We tucked into jerk chicken, rice and pea, veggie curry and pineapple and banana fritters in syrup for pudding! The food was delicious. Thank you Mrs Chance and everyone in the kitchen.

Girls Netball team played their first match of the season. Unfortunately they lost 13:7 to Kinver.

Girls Netball team played their first match of the year beating Kinver 8:2. This was a fantastic win under very wet and rainy conditions. Brilliant team effort, well done to all girls that took part this week.

A HUGEÌýTHANK YOU to Year 7 students who made the most amazing cakes andÌýcongratulationsÌýdone to Lewis, Poppy, Harry and Amelia, our Star Bakers. We raised more than £400! It was a great afternoon. Thanks to everyone who came along, helped out and made it a huge success.
Thank you to everyone who raised money for this years ‘Read for Good’ readathon. Not only have you helped others with your time and money, but you have also spent valuable time reading for pleasure.
The money you donated as part of your sponsored read has helped buy books for hospitals around the country. In total we raised £277.10! We have also been gifted £55.42 from the charity to buy books for our own school library!
Three lucky winners have also won a book to continue their reading journey.
Today saw the final of the Great Languages Bake-Off 2023!
27 students from Year 8Ìýhave spent the last couple of days preparing ingredients, writing up methods in their target language and finalising their designs, before baking their chosen creations at home and bringing them in to school for judging. Parents and staff flocked to Hall A to taste the bakes and vote for their favourites. We were treated to all sorts of regional specialities, including Black Forest gateau, Sachertorte, palmiers, brioche, fruit cakes and cookies, all beautifully presented in national colours and designs.
