Today saw the final of the Great Languages Bake-Off 2023!
27 students from Year 8聽have spent the last couple of days preparing ingredients, writing up methods in their target language and finalising their designs, before baking their chosen creations at home and bringing them in to school for judging. Parents and staff flocked to Hall A to taste the bakes and vote for their favourites. We were treated to all sorts of regional specialities, including Black Forest gateau, Sachertorte, palmiers, brioche, fruit cakes and cookies, all beautifully presented in national colours and designs.
